In-Person Full Conference Registration Fees Include<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In-person conference registration includes attendance to all sessions, morning\/afternoon refreshment breaks, lunches, and evening events. DIS\u2019s complete registration includes a poster\/demo reception and a gala dinner. In-person attendees can also access the conference Discord messaging platform to communicate asynchronously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One-day passes include access to all sessions, lunch, morning\/afternoon refreshment breaks, and the evening events on that specific day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration Cancellation Policy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Up to and including 2 June, the registration fee will be refunded less the 10% administration fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After 2 June 2025, no refunds on registration fees will be made. No-shows will not be refunded. Please note if you pre-register and do not attend the conference, you will be charged your participation fee and will be required to settle any outstanding balances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notification of cancellations should be made by email to registration@dis2025.acm.org<\/a>. If you do not send an email confirming that you wish to cancel your place at the conference, you will still be liable to pay the fees. Substitutions can be made at any time. All applicable refunds will be made after the conference. Bank service charges and all administration fees will be deducted from all conference registration refunds. In the unlikely case of event cancellation, the organizers shall not accept liability for any consequential loss. They shall have no liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including transport costs, accommodation, etc. Delegates are encouraged to take out travel insurance when making travel and accommodation arrangements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In person…<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

DIS 2025 is intended to be an in-person conference.
   \u2022 There will be no separate “virtual attendance” registration option; all registrations are for in-person attendance.
   \u2022 At least one author of each accepted publication must register for the conference.
   \u2022 If an accepted pictorial\/paper’s authors all cannot attend in-person, they will have the option to submit a pre-recorded talk video to be played to a live audience during their paper session. We expect these to be rare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approvals for prerecorded presentations need to be requested as soon as possible from\u00a0chairs@dis2025.acm.org<\/a>, with a description of why an in-person presentation is not possible by any of the authors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration discounts by country<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We have \u2013 as in previous years \u2013 different pricing by the country of your current home address. Participants currently living in Category H countries will be offered a 50% discount, and Category I will be offered a 75% discount. The list of countries is below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
