Workshops will be held Monday, July 10, and Tuesday, July 11, from 9:00 am–5:00 pm. Breakfast (8:00 am – 8:45 am), lunch (12:00 pm–2:00 pm), and coffee (10:30 am and 3:30 pm) will be provided.
A Welcome Reception will happen on Tuesday, July 11, from 5:30 pm–7:30 pm. Light snacks, alcoholic beverages, and non-alcoholic beverages are provided. If you are over 21 and would like to be served alcohol, please bring a Photo I.D.
The Main Conference will begin on Wednesday, July 12, and end on Friday, July 14. Each day will include a full day of programming from morning (9:00 am) to evening (6:00 pm), including paper and pictorial talk sessions, panels, and coffee breaks.
There will be a Demo, Poster, and Arts reception on the evening of Wednesday, July 12, from 6:00 pm–8:00 pm. Food, alcoholic beverages, and non-alcoholic beverages are provided. If you are over 21 and would like to be served alcohol, please bring a Photo I.D.
We are delighted to have two fantastic keynote speakers for DIS 2023*.
Molly Wright Steenson will give the Opening Keynote on Wednesday, July 12t, at 9:00 am. Shannon Mattern will give the Closing Keynote on Friday, July 14th, at 4:30 pm.
* Our keynotes will not be streamed to remote attendees. Registered hybrid DIS attendees can join all paper and technical sessions.
Registration will be open to all attendees starting Monday, July 10th at 8:00 am.
Pre-Conference + Workshop Registration:
Registration is available to all attendees on Monday, 10th and Tuesday 11th, July. Registration will be on CMU’s campus in the Tepper Building, Simmons B Auditorium, between 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Directions to the building can be found: https://www.cmu.edu/tepper/directions.html

Main Conference Registration:
The main conference registration will be open Wednesday–Friday on the first floor of the Cohon University Center from 8:00 am–5:00 pm.
